According to the Association of British Insurers, the claims for losses to commercial property as a result of fire amount to almost £500 million a year. Our course is designed to give an understanding of the dangers of fire; awareness of basic fire safety and prevention, and the action to be taken in the event of fire.
OBJECTIVES
Students will be able to identify fire hazards, and understand the causes and methods of the spread of fire. They should also be able to take action in the event of fire; recognise types of fire extinguisher, and know the fires on which to use them.
